 New digital, peer-reviewed journal will publish clinical case reports in a wide range of medical specialties

PHILADELPHIA, October 27, 2021 – The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ (ACP) and the American Heart Association (AHA) announce the senior editorial leadership of the new digital, open access, peer-reviewed journal, Annals of Internal Medicine: Clinical Cases (AIMCC). Gustavo R. Heudebert, MD, MACP, will serve as editor in chief and Daniel P. Morin, MD, MPH, FACC, FHRS, as deputy editor.

PHILADELPHIA, October 26, 2021 – The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ (ACP) supports COVID-19 booster doses for persons in certain age and risk groups and based on individual risk assessments, following from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  ACP advises patients to speak with their physicians about the COVID-19 vaccine booster shots, considering both the CDC recommendations and their personal situation to determine if a booster is advisable for them.

Celebrating the essential role of internal medicine specialists and subspecialists

PHILADELPHIA, October 22, 2021 – The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ (ACP) will observe National Internal Medicine Day on the National Day Calendar on Oct. 28. This day recognizes internal medicine specialists and subspecialists who are united by a commitment to excellence and who make a difference in the lives of their patients every day.
