The Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) was once again a hub of activity and excitement in the exhibit hall! Whether it was building your own Recharge Kit with custom sensory grounding tools at the Well-being Fun Zone, getting inspired through an individual or group session with an ACP Physician Peer Coach, taking time out to relax and connect to your creative side with and mask making, adding to our group mural wall, connecting with friends and colleagues at the CPDC Networking Social, or gaining valuable knowledge at one of our Mini But Mighty Skills sessions, the CPDC was the place to be!

It's not too early to register to join us next year at the Internal Medicine Meeting in San Francisco, CA, April 16 to 18, 2026!

ACP's Quality Improvement (QI) Leadership Training: Best Practices to Achieve Meaningful and Sustainable Improvement Precourse

Thank you to our amazing faculty for another wonderful QI precourse! Current and past WBCs were eligible to attend ACP's annual QI leadership training program, and they had the opportunity to work in small groups, with the support of a trained ACP Coach, as they designed their QI project. Be on the lookout in Fall 2025 for the invitations for next year!

ACP Physician Peer Coach Training Program: Registration Open for Fall 2025!

Become an ACP-trained Physician Peer Coach. You will learn evidence-based, validated coaching skills from leading expert, Kerri Palamara, MD, MACP, while supporting your own professional development and helping your peers at the same time. This 12-month program starts October 2025 and provides hands-on training and personalized feedback. Fully trained coaches are then eligible to be hired to coach for national ACP programs.

Updated WBC Curriculum Available!

To all WBC and alumni, you asked, we listened! Please be sure to visit our streamlined WBC Resource Center to view our newly updated curriculum and download your WBC Resource Guide. This resource guide is a complement to your WBC training and is designed to support your efforts throughout your WBC training and service. It includes key resources, practical exercises, reflection questions, and an appendix of the most requested resources from our WBCs to help reinforce key concepts and provide concise well-being leadership tools to set you up for success during your WBC ACP chapter service and throughout your career. The WBC Resource Guide is a fillable pdf and ready-to-print copy.

WBC Monthly Group Coaching

Current WBCs who have completed their training are eligible to attend a 1-hour monthly group coaching session. Some recent topics were Taking Care of Ourselves and How to Build Your Well-being Committee, facilitated by ACP WBC Coach and North Carolina Governor Marion McCrary, MD, FACP. Upcoming sessions are scheduled for May 13, June 16, and July 9. Look out for e-mails with links to register. WBCs can access materials and recordings from group coaching sessions on My ACP.
